| What is Party Planning? |
| It is a 10-
to 20-minute meeting with a Hostess to plan
the details of her upcoming Tupperware Party.
|
 |
| Why is Party Planning
important? |
| Higher sales! More datings!
Happy Hostesses! A growing business! All these
benefits can be yours when you take the time
to carefully plan every Tupperware Party you
date. |
 |
| When do I Party Plan? |
| The best time to plan is within
48 hours after a person has agreed to host
a Tupperware Party. |
 |
| Where do I Party Plan?
|
Because you'll do a lot
of dating at your parties, you and your new
Hostesses will probably find it most convenient
to do the planning right then and there. After
you've completed the Guests' orders, gather
your new Hostesses into a small group and
plan with all of them at once to save time.
Many successful Dealers find it more effective
to plan the party in the Hostess's home. Having
this time face-to-face with the Hostess helps
build excitement, establish rapport and adds
a personal touch. You can also see where you'll
be setting up your product display, plus you'll
become familiar with how to get to the venue
for the party.
|
 |
| What do I need for
Party Planning? |
| You need a Party Planning
Packet containing a few catalogues and order
forms, and a Hostess Envelope. |
 |
| How do I Party Plan?
|
| 1. |
Set the Party Day, Date, Time
and Place |
| |
|
| 2. |
Set a Gift Goal
All Tupperware Hostesses receive gifts
based on the amount of sales and datings
collected at their parties.
The specific gift a Hostess would like
to receive is called a 'Gift goal'.
When your Hostess has a specific gift
in mind, she will be much more willing
to work to make the party successful.
Always encourage your Hostess to select
a gift goal which includes two to three
datings. This will increase the gift
value and will ensure the continuing
growth of your business. |
| |
|
| 3. |
Create a guest List
A guest list consists of the people,
the Hostess intends to invite to
the party. Tupperware Success Guide
to Business and Demonstrations.
Work with your Hostess to create a large
guest list by prompting her with ideas
on people to invite: mother, sister,
sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours,
co-workers, the mothers of their children's
friends, etc.
Encourage the Hostess to invite 20-25
people if she would like to have 10-12
guests - it's unlikely she'll pick a
day or time that suits everyone.
Ask the Hostess to personally and enthusiastically-invite
each and every person. Be sure to tell
her about any special Attendance Builder
offers.
Encourage your Hostess to tell those
she invites that it's okay to bring
a friend -and that you'll give a gift
to those who do.
Ask questions about those on the guest
list to ensure your product demonstration
meets their needs. |
| |
|
| 4. |
Discuss the Party Detail
Theme: What would appeal
to the Hostess and her friends?
Games: A fun way to
break the ice and get everyone laughing!
Refreshments:
Something wet, something dry, served
about 20 minutes after the product demonstration
ends.
Party flow:
Let her know the flow and length of
the party (about one to one-and-a-half
hours) and that you'll arrive half-an-hour
early to set up. Set up:
Where should you set up the display?

Set the closing and delivery
dates
The closing date is the last day you
will accept orders and datings that
count toward the Hostess's party totals.
The closing date is usually three to
five days after the party.
The delivery date is the day you will
deliver the Tupperware products to the
Hostess and the day she must have all
the money collected from the Guests.
Outside orders are orders given to a
Hostess before or after a party, but
before the party closes. The Hostess
gets gift credit for all outside orders.
Thank the Hostess! |
